The registration process
Applications are submitted via the FTA's EmaraTax portal. Processing typically takes a few weeks, after which a Tax Registration Number (TRN) is issued.
After registration
You must begin charging VAT on taxable supplies, issue FTA-compliant tax invoices, and file returns from your assigned effective registration date.
